When HughesNet was our primary Internet connection (fulltime RVers then), I stopped using their DNS servers because of issues that occurred from time to time. I instead configured my router to use OpenDNS (I think that was it, but I lost the old networking posts, so I'm not certain about that). That...

When did your problems begin? Were you able to send/receive email via Outlook before?

What network do you switch to, for email? ... i.e., what is the Internet connection?

Do the problems occur if you directly connect to the Gen 4 modem?

You are so right and one of the reasons we only use dual clamp tripods. The other reason is that with the screw clamps loosened, the quick release clamp makes it easier to get the mast plumb, which is so important for an easy setup! I can't remember if I already mentioned it to you or not, but when Joe and I were traveling in our RV with a satellite system, we would just lay a blanket on the bed and put the dish and the radio and the arm on it for travel. if you aren't going to set up at a stop, the nice thing about the fibergl...
