We have tested this product and we are quite impressed with it. It will allow you to connect to VoIP servers specially configured to work over a consumer class satellite Internet service, including StarBand, HughesNet and Wild Blue.

This product is not offered as a perfect service. There are times, particularly during periods of peak network congestion, when the voice will be choppy. You can also often expect the first 10 to 20 seconds of a call to be worse than the remainder of the call. This is because it takes awhile for the service to begin to compress the audio and adjust to the satellite delay. Sometimes you may have to call back 1-3 times to get it to work properly. Though this service works very well, we don't want to convey the impression that it is going to be like a regular land or cell call.

Additionally, we cannot guarantee that at some point in the future, your satellite service provider won't decide to block the service. We do guarantee the service for 30 days from date of activation.
